Court marriage comes under the special marriage act,1954 without any discrimination in the caste, color, race. Few rules in the court marriage: Males must attain the age of 21 whereas females must be above 18 years old. At the time of the court marriage, both the parties should not be having any existing partners. Any of the parties should not be an unsound person or should not have any kind of mental disorder. The parties can be Indian or from any part of the world. This kind of marriage is very simple and it is away from rituals and ceremonies. The bride and the groom will get a certificate from court marriage that they are legally married.
