Username is a very essential part of a Facebook page as it is the name by which you would be known on Facebook and by which you can access your account and use the page you created. But there are many users who are not able to set up a username for their page as they are getting the notification that this Facebook page isn’t eligible to have a username.

Ways to fix this problem of username Here are some of the ways which can help you fix the issues you are facing on the Facebook page because maybe you do not have Facebook page username eligibility or some other issue.

1. Assigning a new page role

  1. First of all, go to the Facebook page and sign in to the admin account of your page.
  2. In the next step move to the option of settings to create a Facebook page name.
  3. In the settings option, you will find an option of page roles, and under which you need to look for the option which says assign a new page role and click on it.
  4. For the Facebook page username type in your email address or the username.
  5. Look for the users from the list and click on it and hit the admin button for the role.
  6. After doing all this you need to click on Add button to create a username.

2. Creating a username

  1. After signing in click on the option of create @username which will open a pop window.
  2. On the pop-up window enter the username you want and then click on the blue button to create a username which will enable you and will create a Facebook page username for you.
  3. Now you can use your page with a username that you created on your own.
