I wanted to create something that mimicked the original Soylent 1.0 taste while giving more room for changing macronutrient composition without effecting micronutrients. Fat, protein, and carbohydrate are essentially isolated to three ingredients; olive oil, whey isolate powder, and oat flour respectively. The rice flour does minimally add to the total amount of carbohydrate, but functions more to simulate the original Soylent flavor. Cocoa powder, coconut oil, and granulated sugar are more for taste though do contribute to fat and carbohydrate content as well.

Some type of leafy green should be eaten on occasion to bring up the Vitamin K value. A small mixed green salad at least once per week should be sufficient. This is the purpose of the spinach in the recipe and it does not need to be added to the daily ingredients.

The fish oil and vitamin D are taken as capsules sometime during the day and do not need to be added to the daily ingredients.
