This is a low-carb version of Xmas Tamales

Makes only 3 servings, since the official LowCarb profile is only 1500 cal.

Because of the reduction in masa and increase in chocolate-flavored whey, this has the nice side effect of being chocolatey!

Preparing a large batch

That will just fit in an 2lb whey container: 6 days worth of soylent

Add into an empty 2lb whey container:

  • 4.8 cups of whey
  • 4.8 cups of masa
  • 2.4 cups of flaxmeal
  • 4 tsp (1.3 tbsp) of salt
  • 6 tsp (2 tbsp) of cinnamon

shake to mix

make a cone shaped cavity in the powder. Important to make sure the sides are covered

add 6 oz of oil

stir carefully into the powder with a coated chopstick, trying to keep the oil from touching the plastic sides

finally, if making muffins, add

  • 6 tsp (2 tbsp) of baking powder
  • 2 cups of raisins
