CURRENT ISSUES
- Fiber itself might be lower than what is needed.
- Fat sources are currently not very diverse and do not have a good balance between saturated, monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats.
- The balance between Omega 6s and Omega 3s is currently at 15:1. The recipe would be better suited having a much more anti-inflammatory ratio such as 2:1 or 1:1.
FUTURE EXPLORATIONS
- Consider replacing maltodextrin with dextrose
- Explore alternative oil options (Contenders: Macadamia, Coconut, Chia Seeds, OR Increased Fish Oil)
- Further optimize micro-nutrients, perhaps by using a different multi-vitamin source
- Explore bone broth protein powder as an alternative to Collagen Protein Powder
- Explore additional nutritional therapeutic options
