PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS

This version is currently in beta testing.

As such, it is only being used to replace 1 out of 6 of my father's meal replacement shakes. Because of this, the amount of calories to be prepared is 379 calories (2271 / 6).

The breakdown of ingredients to achieve this are as follows:

LIQUIDS

  • 177ml Water
  • 22.5ml Olive Oil
  • 2.5ml Clean MCT Oil
  • 0.625ml Wild Fish Oil

POWDERS

  • 21g Carbo Gain
  • 17g Wild Whey Protein Powder
  • 4.15g Super Electrolyte Powder
  • 3g Multi-Collagen Powder
  • 2g Psyllium Husk Powder
  • 1.7g Sunflower Lecithin
  • 0.67g Super Micros
  • 0.25g AbsorbAid Enzymes

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Measure out all liquids and pour into a Mixer bottle.
  2. Measure out all powders using a digital scale.
  3. Add powders to liquids and mix.

CURRENT ISSUES

  • Fiber itself might be lower than what is needed.
  • Fat sources are currently not very diverse and do not have a good balance between saturated, monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats.
  • The balance between Omega 6s and Omega 3s is currently at 15:1. The recipe would be better suited having a much more anti-inflammatory ratio such as 2:1 or 1:1.

FUTURE EXPLORATIONS

  • Consider replacing maltodextrin with dextrose
  • Explore alternative oil options (Contenders: Macadamia, Coconut, Chia Seeds, OR Increased Fish Oil)
  • Further optimize micro-nutrients, perhaps by using a different multi-vitamin source
  • Explore bone broth protein powder as an alternative to Collagen Protein Powder
  • Explore additional nutritional therapeutic options
