PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS

This version is currently in beta testing.

As such, it is only being used to replace 1 out of 6 of my father's meal replacement shakes. Because of this, the amount of calories to be prepared is 373 calories (2235 / 6).

The breakdown of ingredients to achieve this are as follows:

LIQUIDS

  • 177ml Water
  • 30ml Olive Oil
  • 2.5ml Clean MCT Oil

POWDERS

  • 17g Wild Whey Protein Powder
  • 4g Psyllium Husk Powder
  • 3g Multi-Collagen Powder
  • 4.15g Super Electrolyte Powder
  • 3.3g Sunflower Lecithin
  • 0.5g Super Micros

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Measure out all liquids and pour into a Mixer bottle.
  2. Measure out all powders using a digital scale.
  3. Add powders to liquids and mix.

CURRENT ISSUES

  • Other carbs besides fiber are quite low.
  • The vitamin and mineral content is below the suggested RDA for many vitamins. This is due to a lower initial usage of Super Micros, so as to ease into the higher B-vitamin content.
  • Oil and water tend to separate.
  • The balance between Omega 6s and Omega 3s is currently at 4:1. The recipe would be better suited having a much more anti-inflammatory ratio such as 2:1 or 1:1.

TODOS

  1. Add small amount of fiber
  2. Increase Super Micros to 4g
  3. Increase Clean MCT & decrease Olive Oil
  4. Add dextrose
  5. Explore alternative oil options (Contenders: Macadamia, Coconut, Chia Seeds, OR Increased Fish Oil)
  6. Research and add digestive enzymes to the feed.
  7. Optimize micro-nutrients

      • Fish Oil can cause burpiness and other GI issues.
      • Consider re-introducing more fish oil later.

      • MCT Oil has the potential to cause GI distress and diarrhea. A more conservative initial dose should mitigate this risk.

      • Re-introduce at a later point when the other elements of the recipe have stabilized.
