Update #8 Recipe is now custom tailored to my nutritional requirements, was able to remove two ingredients as they were not necessary.

Update #7 OK so I spend the day updating all the nutrition information of the ingredients used in my recipe by combining the information provided on the nutrition facts label and the information provided in the USDA database. There are some research studies I want to read on the effects of protein restriction and calorie restriction that I didn't get to today but I will probably be lowering the level of protein in my recipe. So, no recipe tweaks yet. (though I still haven't tried soylent with the potassium citrate, planning on reformulating first)

Update #6 Going to be working on my recipe today. I am looking into decreasing the protein to try to prevent any increase in IGF-1. Also going to be tweaking some of the ingredients to make sure I'm not adding more of any one thing then I need to. I may look into cost too.

Update #5 Increase corn and soybean oil.

Update #4 I think the arrowroot powder is causing gas, I am going to remove it and figure something else out, maybe increase the corn.

Update #3 Actually I did end up adding 50g of arrowroot powder. It is tasteless and I can't tell it was added to the recipe. It is however expensive, I just happened to have some on hand, I will try tapioca starch when I run out.

Update #2 OK Looks like I don't need the starch, I was short on protein and when I increased that so did my calories and I am now happy with their levels. This recipe is missing potassium because my shipment of potassium citrate hasn't arrived yet.

Update #1 I am attempting to modify this great recipe for the # of calories I require. I happened to have some arrowroot starch around the apartment I want to use up but I will look into tapioca starch.
