This is a soylent designed to taste great and be easily customized! Please read before making this:
- This is a pill and beverage diet - the idea is to get as much as you can in pill form to keep the nastiness out of the drink. Also, having a beverage is convenient when you have to take pills. You take the multivitamin and the magnesium once per day (preferably morning), and one each of the others with each meal (even with regular food).
- The macros in this recipe can be fine tuned by tweaking the powdered mix, so you can use pretty much anything you want as a flavoring (powders, syrups, etc) and then balance the macros around it to precisely fit your DRI or target for weight control.
- There is legitimate concern over the efficacy of many brands of multivitamins, which is why I selected Nature Made products where possible, as they are the only major supplement maker that is USP verified. I also opted to go heavy on Alpha-GPC because it is simply amazing stuff for the brain, price be damned.
** DO NOT TAKE ALL OF THE PILLS AT ONCE!!! STICK TO THE PLAN!!! ** Large doses of potassium can damage tissue inside your stomach and esophagus, and the FDA restricted potassium dosage to 99 mg per pill for this very reason. The potassium from KCl in the powdered mix is fast acting, but the gluconate is time-release. Potassium, choline, and sulfur are all things that your body needs constantly throughout the day, so taking them all at once would be not only dangerous but ineffective as well.
