Electrolytes are sodium (Na+), potassium (K+), calcium (Ca 2+), magnesium, (Mg 2+), chloride (Cl-), phosphate (PO4 2-), bicarbonate (HCO3-), and sulfate (SO4 2-). Sodium, potassium, magnesium and calcium are the four major electrolytes that maintain the body’s fluid balance. http://runnersconnect.net/running-nutrition-articles/electrolytes-for-runners/
Now that we know "where to get" the electrolytes establish a powder with the following. Ignore the daily recommendation for Soylent, focus instead on the per drink needs of the following:
Sodium: 100mg Potassium: 400mg Calcium: 20% of daily Magnesium: 40%
For flavour try powdered vitamin C or a squirt of lemon juice Adds sweetness, tartness and vitamin C! Awesome! Stevia drops or powder also a great option.
First trial and it tastes pallatable. Haven't tried the vitamin C yet but lemon juice is nice. Blend with water well to integrate the tartar etc. Little gritty - my magic bullet does a good job but not perfect. Blending with water is helpful. Maybe try baking powder instead of creme tar tar? - investigate their potassium values first.
