This variant of soylent is not prepared like others. Most others are just a single drink, and that's all. Soylent Red is actually split up into a drink and a sort of flatbread.

Notes: this method of preparation will also work with People Chow, it just won't be spicy. Also, if you are concerned with the lack of iodine in this recipe, you can add a drop of iodine from Amazon to a bottle of the Franks, and shake it vigorously, or substitute a different hot sauce that doesn't have salt, and add 4g of salt to the recipe.

Instructions Flatbread: Combine masa, oil, and Frank's into a large bowl. Add water slowly and mix until the dough mixes well but has a minimal amount of water (about 1-2 cups). Squeeze into patties and cook on a frying pan.

Drink - combine all other ingredients and add water. Now, the water gets a bit tricky. It should be warm to the touch, but not hot, like what you would comfortably wash your hands or shower in. If it gets too hot, (I accidentally added nearly boiling water one time) it will react with the whey protein and taste terrible. If it's too cold, you will have to add too much water to allow the powders to properly mix, and the drink will taste watered down. The final drink should come out to be around 250ml. Once you add the water, you should stir it vigorously, then reach into the mixture and break up any clumps of powder. Once you're satisfied that all of the larger clumps are gone, go ahead and refrigerate it.

I understand that this is slightly more expensive than People Chow, but it's still considerably cheaper than food or even the official Soylent, and tastes (quite frankly) amazing.
