2-meal supplement (breakfast / lunch) to be used in conjunction with a normal food meal. Can be mixed w/ almond milk or water (this listing uses water).

Best set up overnight (soak), blender in morning adding the MCT oil, powdered vitamins, liquid calcium & matcha powder. Take the gel pill vitamins throughout day.

Warning - THIS MIX IS LOW IN POTASSIUM for a reason. I can't medically take additional Potassium. It is recommended to add some to this mix unless you get enough from the 1 normal daily meal.

Most of the cost in this mix is for the vitamins. Several of them can be omitted:

  • Alpha Lipoic Acid - increases absorption of other vitamins, plus other health benefits (diabetes, nerve issues, eye issues).
  • CoQ10 - antioxidant, helps digest food as well as help protect the heart and skeletal muscles.Susgested to take after ALA (see above) for better absorption.
  • CLA-1000 - mainly used in bodybuilding & weight lifting, it is another form of conjugated linoleic acid.
  • MSM: a type of sulfur. Used to help many issues, little scientific research supporting use. I use it for joints & muscle cramps, as well as skin issues.
  • Matcha: antioxidant flavonoids (found in green tea). You can just drink several cups of tea instead.

This mix differs from many DIY mixes as I did not use:

  • Chia Seeds: I don't like drinking them whole. They also would not blend out and after doing some research, unless ground before use, they lose many benefits if ground and let stand/store.
  • Coconut flour: It added an unpleasant grittiness to the mixture, while tolerable, was unpleasant. Considering I was trying for lower carb and other things could be added to cover it's nutrients, I dropped it.
