Things I've learned from DIY Soylent:
- Use a scale.
- Measure into a separate container on the scale, then transfer to the bowl.
- Take dry ingredients for a spin in the food processor to mix them well.
- Food processor also helps smooth out gritty ingredients.
- Have some liquid in the bottom of the blender before you add powder, to help prevent clumping.
In this recipe:
- Combine the boiling water and cream of rice first, then mix in the other ingredients. Otherwise, the cream of rice remains in large pieces.
