Based on Chris Bair's Keto Chow 1.5.0 recipe, with modifications:
- Sub some NOW Fiber-3 for all Acacia Fiber (NOW Fiber-3 adds significant Omega-3s).
- Reduce the Calcium Phosphate and add Monosodium Phosphate, to prevent exceeding Calcium RDI without causing a deficiency of Phosphorus. (NOTE: Heavy Whipping Cream added when preparing shakes fulfills the calcium RDI. I also usually use Casein or Milk Protein powder to prepare shakes, which also supplement the amount in the Vitamin Mix.)
- Decrease Xanthan Gum to account for differences in viscosity of various protein powders. (Milk/Casein Protein powders are themselves quite thick.)
- Add NOW Vitamin C/Ascorbic Acid.
NOTE: I take the Multivitamin and Fish Oil pills separately from the shakes (they are not added to the mix itself).
