I originally intended this to replace all food intake, but it can also be used to replace single meals.

The loGi cane sugar is used to raise the calories, however it has lead to a high level of sugar in this recipe. The sugar has no other nutritional value so it can be reduced if you want less calories and carbs.

I do not crush or blend the pills, I just take them separately in the morning. I wanted to do the same with the flaxseed oil, but I regretted that decision immediately after having a mouthful of disgusting oil. I'm going to try mixing all the oil with the first shake of the day.

The consistency is not quite smooth, as the lecithin granules float around in the shake. I do not blend my shakes, but that can perhaps make it a lot smoother if desired. It tastes slightly sweet and chocolate-y due to the cocoa.

I use this scale from Bulk Nutrients to measure all ingredients.

Nutritional information

The nutritional information was all taken from the Australian Health Survey Food Nutrient Database or two other soylent recipes, Ausoylent 1.3.4 and Australian Soylent 1.0, which seemed to be accurate.

Alternative sources for ingredients

It is usually possible to get masa lista cheaper at Pennisi Cuisine, however their website has been in maintenance for a long while now.

Bulk Nutrients can be used as an alternative to Bulk Powders for WPC and fine powdered oats.

Most ingredients from Woolworths should also be available at Coles
