Cool. Tell me what you mix. I want to see more full spectrum recipes (recipes with all nutrients but vit D coming from a wide variety of natural sources) on here. Also if you find a source for cheaper strawberry, raspberry or banana freeze dried powders…

Just wondering why the last ingredient is at zero (Maximum Nutrition Powder), I guess I won't need to buy it?
PurpleLizzard - Jun 26, 2014 6:26pm
Looks nice. The sulfur is probably not a problem since you are using a good amount of protein powder which usually contains sulfur even if its not stated. I hope the psyllium husk is simple to manage I hear that it can be tough.
natergater4 - Jun 26, 2014 3:18pm
Updated for you :)
FutureBSD - Jun 26, 2014 12:10pm
I just wanted to provide you an update to the mix. Just received the last stuff and mixed it all in, blended it and it's delicious. A bit sweet, so I'll work on this a bit but besides from this it's really good. A big like cookie dough.

Thanks. I think amazon is a cheaper option for me, but I think I will try a hybrid recipe with some fruit powders mixed in.

North Bay Trading Co. http://www.northbaytrading.com/ Make sure to get "Freeze Dried". Air drying is not as healthy, supposedly.

Awesome! To add calories, I recommend you add more Masa Harina, protein, and canola oil. Make sure to add them proportionally to each other so that the relative amounts between those three ingredients stay the same!

Sodium/Potassium balance seems to matter a great deal. Most people's regular-food diets are low in potassium (sources: whole grains, greens) and high in sodium (salt added to many refined foods and added in cooking.), making for a horrible balance. Cutting…

PurpleLizzard - Jun 24, 2014 8:51pm
The 100 gm coconut flour AND the 50 gr masa, plus the chia seeds will make the thing quite gritty and dense. Consider reducing the coconut flour significantly, after all you have more than 200% of the required fiber. Also add a gram or two of potassium.

Wouldn't it be more helpful and constructive, rather than simply telling us that the LiqCake recipe is "quite wrong", to actually post the correct values for the Bulkpowders Whey so that cultofmonkey or someone else can correct the mix?

A questions about the Cal-Mag (+ Vit. D): In the recipe it gives a ratio of 1000mg/500mg whereas the Amazon link takes you to a product with a 1:1 ratio. Looking at the 6g asked for in the recipe, it seems there is 400mg of each, so I imagine it's just…

I may take out the soy lecithin and replace it with 2 or 3 banana's when I blend it in the morning. Banana's are excellent when it comes to "thickening" a mixture.
