Daily food/nutrition for a thru-hike. Works out to 0.8 lbs per day of the powdery-foods --> 8 lbs for a 10-day supply. Plus 2 lbs of peanut butter and banana chips (this may be cheating slightly, but I think I would go crazy on the trail without some sort of solid food) for 10 lbs of nourishment for 10 days without resupply.
