strong textCreated this soylent recipe for me, a skinny man in my thirties, to gain muscle along with a good exercise program. I wanted it to be really as healthy as possible using whatever i could dig up research-wise.
It is a bit expensive.
I chose the vitamin supplement with the highest bioavailability of each micronutrient, and a fish oil/ omega 3 supplement with great nutritional properties. Seriously, look it up.
I wanted a mixture of oils, and really liked QuidNYC's oilive oil/ mtc combo after reading about dietary fats, though i switched out the MTC oil for straight up organic virgin coconut oil.
I've been using a recipe with masa... hopefully the blue masa will be even better. I know it has lots of antioxidants. The oat flour and maltodextrin keep diversity.
As for protein, it's tough to keep prices down. In the end i did a comparison of actual usable grams protein per dollar, and body fortress was the best one that still had good reviews in independent tests. But it was important to me to have a mixture of protein sources for variety's sake, hence the soy (non-GMO).
The two mushroom supplements, lions mane and ashwagandha, are for enhanced cognitive function and energy. And creatine to help with the workouts.
May change choline source to Alpha-GPC, 1000mg per day
In case you couldn't tell, i have an interest in nootropics, and am trying to incorporate them into my soylent as regular doses with food.
I wanted an omega 3 to 6 ratio of 1:4 based on several studies ive read.
I haven't begun taking it yet since i need to order a few more ingredients, and i want finish up my last few batches of People Chow Tortilla Perfection with olive oil.
