Seeing your hair covered in white spots is uncomfortable. But we must forget the myth that dandruff is synonymous with poor hygiene. This flaking of the scalp is triggered by hormonal factors, sudden mood swings and stress, but (thankfully) it can be controlled. In general, the causes of dandruff are the product of a harmless and chronic condition that occurs when the scalp becomes oily, or on the contrary dry, and begins to produce white scales that are simply traces of dead skin that appears in the hair or falls on the shoulders. Causes of dandruff Dandruff can be caused by many reasons, including sensitivity to common hair products or dry skin. Also conditions such as psoriasis, seborrheic dermatitis, or skin eczema are the cause of dandruff. Yeast or fungus overgrowth can also cause dandruff. This excessive growth can have a origin in certain emotional conditions such as stress (due to the stimulation of the nerve causes the cells to divide more quickly), or hormonal imbalance, very oily scalp, or problems in the immune system. Dandruff can also appear from factors such as dry fall or winter weather. In women, one of the most common causes of dandruff has to do with changes in hormones and the adrenal and thyroid glands. Another problem: dandruff attracts fungi. Its proliferation also causes more irritation in the place. In extreme situations, dermatitis appears on the eyebrows, cheeks, and between the breasts. Who is prone to dandruff? Contrary to what many people think, dandruff, which affects 32% of the population, is not just for men. In a survey conducted by Unilever, while 42% of the male population said they had the problem at least once a year, the figure for women was 39%. Dandruff can appear on any type of hair: it can appear on dry or oily hair. What's going on? The scalp is made up of skin, which flakes due to the loss of dead cells and the arrival of living cells. Fine scaling is normal, but when you lose whiter patches of skin, it is an inflammation called seborrheic dermatitis, the technical name for dandruff. How to treat dandruff There is no permanent cure, but dandruff can be controlled. The first step is to buy a shampoo with anti-dandruff action. These products work because they contain active ingredients that reduce cell division. Among the two most common are zinc and ketoconazole. There is only one way to know what works best for you, and that is accomplished by experimenting. Today there are versions of shampoos that condition and moisturize, unlike the older ones, which dry out the hair. In cases of severe desquamation, the dermatologist may prescribe oral medication. When treatment is stopped, dandruff usually returns. But this is not a recommended method, since we know that the problem of dandruff can be treated in a more natural and less invasive way for our body. Eliminate bad habits To start, you should wash your hair every day with warm (almost cold) water, so that the scales do not accumulate, and dry it with a hair dryer. At the time of washing, do not use your nails, just the fingertip. If you already have excess fat hair, if you follow a diet high in fat and rich in sugar, you will only make your case worse, so it is advisable to monitor your diet. Whenever possible, try to expose yourself to the sun (in the morning or in the afternoon), as sunlight is a natural anti-inflammatory. But do not abuse because in excess, the effect may be the opposite. It is also advisable to try home remedies to treat seborrhea and dandruff that can have a great effect on your scalp if you have controlled the habits that are causes of dandruff. Vision is our most precious special sense. Nearly half of the human brain is engaged in vision-related activities. Vision loss is any reduction in the ability to see, including blurred vision, cloudy vision, double vision, blind spots, poor night vision, and loss of peripheral vision (tunnel vision). Vision loss may affect one or both eyes, it may occur gradually or suddenly, and it may be partial or complete. Vision changes may originate in the eyes themselves or may be caused by many different conditions that affect the brain or even the whole body. Revision Eye Supplement Reviews
