How did this get so expensive? Organic cocoa powder. I don't use cheap cocoa powder on ethical grounds. (Download ChocolateList app for details.) See my variant, Induction Keto Shake for Her, Vanilla Spice, which is a $6-a-day version, without cocoa powder. I use an expensive multivitamin as well, which is high quality. You may wish to use a less expensive multivitamin.
The carbohydrates are all in the form of soluble fiber (chia seeds and psyllium husk powder), so the net carbs are around zero. This recipe is for people who cannot enter ketosis at 30 grams of carbohydrates a day. I based this recipe on QuidNYC's keto recipes, but eliminated the coconut flour and tweaked the remaining ingredients, especially increasing the sodium.
Sweeten with stevia drops while blending the powder with the oils and water.
I'm aware that the vitamins are off, so I'll refine on this recipe over time. I'm new to ketogenic recipes. Please bear with me.
