*Feel free to make variations or copy this, but I'm realizing that pea protein as the main protein is too expensive in startup costs and it may be impractical to use. I will start over from scratch and hopefully come out with a better recipe that doesn't have grain flours or dairy. Thanks for checking out the recipe!

This is my first recipe, so if you have any tips please tell me! I know there are some holes in the nutrition still but I'm still tweaking it and adding/taking away ingredients.

While the iron levels look very high, since it's all non-heme iron I may suspect that most of it doesn't get absorbed. But don't worry, I'm not actually using this yet. It's tough to find non-dairy proteins that are low in iron.

I think a lot of people dismiss phytonutrients, but that's through no fault of their own. People simply don't talk about their importance in diet because little is known about them. But that's why I included the "Amazing Grass" supplement to get you your daily dose of chlorophyll!

The macro distribution and flavor are unique from other stuff I've seen listed here. I also haven't seen any grain-free recipes! Well, mine is mostly grain-free.

So what I'm going for here is a chocolate-almond shake. However, I can see this easily turning into a chocolate-peanut butter shake by replacing the almond flour with peanut flour. And then removing the cacao powder would make it just almond or peanut butter, etc. etc. you get the idea...

The smaller ingredients (choline, MSM, KCl) should be blended more so I put those at the top of the list. Then the 2 pills you take for omegas and a multivitamin are at the bottom of the list.

The startup cost is pretty high compared to other recipes, but you can get a lot of them in smaller amounts. That, of course, will result in a higher expense per day but for trial that's probably acceptable.
