This recipe is in testing
I wanted to create a low cost alternative to COMP (the Japanese Soylent) and this is what I came up with. It uses pearled barley instead of oats because barley is readily available at my local supermarket and much cheaper. I tried to source everything from Amazon.co.jp and also avoid items that need to be imported.
How to Make
- Grind up all the solid ingredients (pills, barley, nori). I use an electric coffee grinder.
- Mix in all the other powders
- When you are ready to drink, add the oil, milk, and water to desired thickness.
- Shake and enjoy!
