So my two week supply of 100%Food arrived today. I have to say I like it. It's 'very' thick though, which I had some problems with - had to put it through the blender. The taste was good. Subtly chocolate with a grainy base. Tastes earthy in a good way.…

A family of 2 might need to order 2 months' worth of Soylent every 1 month. But an eBay reseller of Soylent might need to order a very large quantity from Rosa every week. @JulioMiles, is there any rate limit on reorders?

gannas - Jun 13, 2014 1:46pm
I'm really hoping so. This apparent prolonged stall in shipping is concerning. I think the reorders aren't working out the way they had planned or their copacker is having issues getting shipments to the fulfillment center.

As a newbie to the DIY world, I have to ask... what's wrong with oat flour that you would need an alternative?
benedict - Jun 13, 2014 9:59am
Yes, I agree. I would add that metabolism vary from person to person. With a double protein version, and on a basis of 3 meals a day, it's easy to go 1.33 or 1.67 protein. It really is a matter of choice and I appreciate that.

Don't worry: despite its colorful name, “Soylent” contains neither ground-up humans nor soy. It is a powdered “food replacement” with a carbohydrates, fats, and protein ratio of 50/30/20. Each serving contains 9g of dietary fiber, 36% of the U.S. RDA.…

Not really a huge deal though. You will definitely mix it quite well, but even if you get say, 2x the correct amount 1 day, and 1/2 the amount 2 other days, it just averages out over short enough time frames.
trigojon - Jun 13, 2014 6:39am
I would like to hear when they think they might be getting the scoops then. Or give me the option to not have a scoop. I don't blame them, I would just like my sample of Soylent so I can see if I'll like it before my official getshere .
