the "Soy" in Soylent is "Soy Lecithin" and it doesn't matter if Lecithin is GMO or not as that makes no difference in this "pure" compound... also I suggest you read this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lecithin#Genetically_modified_crops_as_a_source_of_lecithin…

I recommend refrigeration or freezing for longer shelf life and freshness. Since it's hard to be certain that the seal hasn't been broken during shipping, it's better to be safe than to be consuming potentialy rancid oil.

I suspect this will go on for some time because reorders are given priority over new orders and so volume is climbing even as production increases. Eventually they should get more reasonable lead times, but nobody within the company is providing any guidance…

"The Colbert " https://twitter.com/soylent/status/476952298288328705
"The Colbert" is officially 3 parts Soylent, 1 part chocolate syrup, 1 part bourbon. http://t.co/9PGB7J8D4h
hlycrapitsmyles - Jun 12, 2014 4:58am
Is this still an option?
@PogMoThoin13 @venturestelstar you could add 10 tbsp Hershey's syrup to a day of Soylent and still have less sugar than same amt of ensure!
Tordenskjold - Jun 12, 2014 4:37am
Honestly yeah, it should simply make it like a "spoiler" that you could choose to "unhide" for yourself
@PIanet_Earth we are working on it! hopefully by Jan 2015
@PogMoThoin13 @venturestelstar you could add 17 tbsp of @hersheys chocolate syrup to a day of Soylent and it would still have less sugar!
axcho - Jun 12, 2014 4:22am
Just a quick shipping update - @iEnvisionary will be taking all remaining orders to the post office tomorrow, and most should arrive by Saturday. Hopefully we'll be able to switch over to TNT (or resolve our USPS issues) after that!
@ldavidson02 @sir_archibong with gusto!
@billcbanks our oat flour has trace gluten content so we're not GF quite yet, but soon!
@aChrisOConnor don't fret! soy is nowhere near a primary ingredient in Soylent, tiny amount of soy lecithin used as emulsifier.

Ichabod13 - Jun 12, 2014 4:01am
