As to keeping the updates here, or moving them into your own blog, I personally tend to stay here for this kind of thing, I don't seem to keep up with experience threads that aren't on here... but maybe I'm just lazier than most. As to a hybrid Soylent/soylent,…

I like soybean because it gives me Vitamin K and enough omega-6 to satisfy the USDA.

What is Precooked masa? Is that different than Masa Harina? I think it's Masa Arepa, but not sure. Can anyone link me to a product?

I applaud Mushrooshi for soliciting opinions and starting this discussion. Thank you! My way around the lengthy wait is to order via www.custombodyfuel.com. I ordered Soylent on July 5 (2014) so I won't be getting it for several months still. I'm…

I mix up a day and it lasts me 3 days. If it's thick though, add more water. I can usually tell by how it pours. It should pour smooth and not thick pouring. It's never too late to add a bit more water and reshake it.

I recently introduced my mom to the soylent concept. She had me order a week of Clean Fuel Premium from @axcho. She gave me feedback that her mixture was really thick. Here's her response to my question--how has your soylent experience been going?…

Also, on the DIY front, I've decided the best balance of optimizations and convenience is going to be a hybrid of DIY and Official. So I'll probably work on a simple personal recipe over the next week or two and have it conjunction with my official Soylent.…

Week 15. I have official reached the limits of how much text discourse will let me put into a single post. I now wish I had claimed the first 2-3 posts of this thread, as I'm now unable to add beyond this. I'll either make a new topic for part 2, or…

@axcho - Looking for a sample pack/order - either a 1 full day per recipe or perhaps 500-600 kcal per recipe. Cost isn't as big a big factor as taste. Trying to find a few recipes/orders I can stick with and tired of the DIY route. Full disclosure: I…

Hey, I am not on a ketogenic diet myself, so no. From what I've read, the amount of fat in Phill Fuel is reasonable (given how low carbs and protein have to be) but if you have a source that says otherwise, please post a link! :)

http://www.nature.com/nature/journal/vaop/ncurrent/full/nature13793.html I've generally been a proponent of artificial sweeteners, but this new paper (out today), in the world's most prestigious journal challenges the notion that they are innocuous.
axcho - Sep 17, 2014 6:18pm
Thanks @asympt. I also recommend trying that simple recipe. You can also use pretty much any multivitamin if you want, it doesn't strictly have to be that one.
axcho - Sep 17, 2014 6:17pm
@uberjer, that's interesting, I don't know why you'd get a sugar spike from the new Schmoylent - that's not something I've experienced yet. It would be slightly less sweet, though, because rice flour is less sweet than maltodextrin.

Just set up a subscription, and make sure you use the same email address as you backed. They should detect it and put you order in the reorder-shipping queue.

My email is not registering on the official soylent page for re-ordering. I'm worried that if I create a new account I'll be forced to wait for the 4-5 months and not be recognized for my early backer status. Any ideas? Thanks for the help!

They have a commitment to those that have already received their orders, as I'm sure many of them are living on a high-percetage Soylent based diet. This isn't a one time use product. It only seems unfair because you're on this side of the fence, once…

They need to change the wording in the address confirmation email. Cause when they say "we will be shipping your soylent to you within the next several weeks." To me that means within 3 weeks from the email they will ship it to me.
dakota0626 - Sep 17, 2014 5:19pm
Exactly. In fact, Matt had just posted in another thread that they slowed shipping to ensure reorders were being handled with priority. That alone says a lot for me, they'd rather delay new orders by half a year than delay reorders by a few weeks to a…

EveB - Sep 17, 2014 4:56pm
I can't see this happening at a scale that really matters in the greater scheme of things. Once Soylent / Rosa Labs gets their production / shipping to resemble a true consumer delivery system, then these exceptions will no longer happen. If I weren't…

How do you think the Ebay suppliers get their supply? I can't imagine it matters much if you need Soylent for your friends, or for your "friends". I doubt they would revoke reordering privileges, but then again if they did it would probably affect you…

I think it would be best if you didn't right now. Reorders seem to be taking up a good portion of the production output now, so you would be contributing to the delay. If you really want them to be able to try it, you could offer some of your own supply…

Hi @daveyh ! After a quick search on the DIY website, it seems that nobody is using lupine flour as an ingredient. So it is probable that there may not be any other opinions, because nobody else tried it.
