When facing high levels of tension, think about something that makes you happy, such as the beach. Picturing the sand and the waves rolling in is a very peaceful image and will help to remind you of the finer things in life. Create positive imagery to help eliminate unnecessary stress.

To avoid the stress that comes with forgetting something, write everything down. Get a notebook application for your phone, or carry a small pad of paper around with you. Keeping track of what you want to accomplish will ensure that you're able to achieve it.

A good tip that can help you reduce stress is to stop multitasking and just focus on doing one thing at a time. Multitasking might save you time but you'll end up with a big headache. Avoid all the stress by just focusing on finishing one task at once.

Stress is a double-edged sword that can cause extreme exhaustion while also causing the inability to fall asleep. To get a good-night's sleep, take a nice warm bath immediately before bed. Relax your body in the water one bit at a time and let your cares drain away with the bath water when done.

Drink some orange juice or eat your favorite citrus to calm your nerves. The Vitamin C will help you deal with stress caused by illness, and can even fend them off to begin with.

Simplify the things in your life. Start with your bedroom closet, and go from there. Eliminate the many things that you do not use.
