This is meant to be a meal replacement shake focusing on nutrients that are normally lacking in the Standard American Diet, with a focus on nutrients I know I myself am lacking from other areas of my diet/lifestyle, such as protein and Vitamin D. It includes several "real" foods such as frozen berries and Kefir, and therefore cannot be considered a pure Soylent recipe. This recipe is not meant to provide a full daily nutritional profile or to replace existing multi-vitamin usage and is therefore not concerned with macro-nutrient ratios.
Important Note: Do not include the added Vitamin D in this recipe unless you have been diagnosed by a medical doctor with a Vitamin D deficiency. Vitamin D is a nutrient that can be overconsumed and cause poisoning.
The portion definition for the frozen fruit is 1 cup. A portion of the D3-K2 liquid vitamin supplement is defined as 1 drop. Multivitamin dosage included in the recipe to track micro-nutrient levels.
